Pardon Our Dust UPDATE

Weekly Re-Cap:   Monday, January 30 to Saturday, February 4
On Tuesday Jan. 31, the median and inside lanes (eastbound & westbound) of Broad Street, from Hamilton Street to 1st Street, closed until the GRTC Pulse median stations in this area are constructed. In addition to the median and inside lane closures, motorists should anticipate lane shifts in areas where median stations are being built. However, there is no need to detour off of Broad Street as two travel lanes in each direction remain open. Lane Construction will uphold MOT at all times.
Traffic is guided by weighted orange barrels, signage, protective fencing and concrete barriers. They are there for the general safety and well-being of the traveling public, as well as Lane’s workers. Motorists are advised to slow down, obey all traffic signs and watch out for workers and pedestrians when traveling through work zones. Please remember: Orange Cones = NO Phones.

While Lane Construction is committed to work zone safety, accidents can sometimes occur. If you accidentally hit any equipment, such as an orange barrel, please call the GRTC Pulse Construction Hotline, (804) 980-0084.
