This week on Broad Street, station construction continued at Willow Lawn; Staples Mill East and West; Cleveland East and West; Science Museum East and West; Allison East and West; VCU & VUU East and West; Arts District East and West; Convention Center East and West; Government Center East and West; and VCU Hospital West. Canopies were set at the VCU & VUU stations. Night work also continued with traffic signals on Broad St. and Main St., as well as with roadway work on Broad St. On E. Main Street, station construction continued at Main St. Station East and West; Shockoe Bottom East; East Riverfront East and West; and Orleans. Work is beginning at Shockoe Bottom West, with a traffic switch and striping estimated later this week.
Most of construction activity is occurring during permitted daytime hours, 7.a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
