Pardon Our Dust UPDATE

LANE Construction continues with work on GRTC Pulse, a new bus rapid transit system serving the Richmond Region, from Rocketts Landing to Willow Lawn. Currently, utility relocation is continuing in locations along Broad Street and Main Street. Preliminary station construction also has begun on westbound Broad Street. MOT signs, which will direct the traveling public through work zones on Broad Street, are being installed. Permitted work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

Please Note: Night work (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) is expected on Thursday, December 8, and Friday, December 9, in three locations along eastbound Broad Street.

Utility Relocation:

Where: North and south sides of Main St., from 15th St. to 17th St.
Impacts: Temporary curb lane closures in both the westbound and eastbound directions. One travel lane will remain open in each direction.

Roadway Construction:

Where: North side of westbound Broad St., between Allison St. and Strawberry St.
Impacts: Temporary closures of the westbound curb lane and adjacent sidewalk, as well as temporary loss of street parking, from Allison St. to Strawberry St.

Installation of MOT Signs:

Where: Eastbound and westbound Broad Street, from Thompson St. to Foushee St.
Impacts: Temporary closures of curb lanes and parking, between Thompson St. and Foushee St., in both the eastbound and westbound directions.

Monday, December 5 to Saturday, December 10

Utility Relocation:

Broad Street: Night work (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) is scheduled for Tues., Dec. 6, and Wed., Dec. 7, in the following locations:

Broad St. eastbound, at Laurel St.
Broad St. eastbound, at Hermitage Rd.
Broad St. eastbound, at Boulevard

Impacts include double lane closures in the above locations along eastbound Broad St. One travel lane will remain open.

Main Street:

Where: North and south sides of Main St., from 15th St. to 17th St.
Impacts: Temporary curb lane closures in both the westbound and eastbound directions. One travel lane will remain open in each direction.

Details: Foundation construction at Allison East.
Impacts: Permanent closures of median and inside lanes of Broad St., in both the eastbound and westbound directions, at Allison East. If there are parking impacts as a result of this permanent closure of the median, public notification will be made as soon as possible in advance.
